Welcome to Travlin. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Travlin mobile application, website, and related services (collectively, the “Services”).

Travlin (“Travlin,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) is an AI-powered travel organizer that helps users organize trips, import travel confirmations, build itineraries, and receive personalized travel tips and guidance.

By accessing or using Travlin, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.

1. Use of Travlin

Travlin helps users organize travel information, create trip itineraries, import booking confirmations, and receive travel-related suggestions.

You may use Travlin only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to misuse the Services or interfere with their normal operation.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Travlin.

If you are under 18, you may use Travlin only with the consent of a parent or legal guardian.

By using Travlin, you represent that you meet these eligibility requirements.

3. Account Registration

To use certain features, you may need to create an account or sign in using an authentication provider.

You are responsible for keeping your account information accurate and secure. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

4. Connected Email Accounts and Gmail Access

Travlin may allow users to connect an email account or import travel confirmations by forwarding emails to Travlin.

If you choose to connect Gmail, Travlin may request read-only Gmail access through the Google OAuth scope:

This permission allows Travlin to view Gmail messages for the purpose of identifying travel-related confirmation emails and extracting itinerary details.

Travlin uses Gmail read-only access only to identify and process travel-related confirmation emails, such as flights, hotels, vacation rentals, trains, car rentals, cruises, buses, activities, and other travel booking confirmations.

Travlin does not send, modify, delete, archive, label, move, or create emails.

Travlin does not use Gmail data for advertising.

Travlin does not sell Google user data.

You may disconnect Gmail or another connected email account at any time from within the app or by revoking access through your account provider’s permissions settings.

5. Email Forwarding and Third-Party Email Providers

Travlin may allow users to import travel confirmations by forwarding emails to a Travlin email address or by connecting an email account through a third-party email provider.

When you connect or forward email content to Travlin, you authorize Travlin and its service providers to process that information to identify travel-related bookings and create itinerary entries.

Travlin may use trusted service providers, such as email parsing, authentication, infrastructure, analytics, or AI providers, to help deliver the Services.

You are responsible for ensuring that any emails or information you forward or connect to Travlin are yours or that you have permission to share them.

6. AI-Powered Features

Travlin may include AI-powered features that generate travel tips, itinerary summaries, destination guidance, recommendations, and responses to user questions.

AI-generated content may be based on your trip details, travel preferences, itinerary information, destination data, and user-provided prompts.

AI-generated content may be incomplete, outdated, inaccurate, or unsuitable for your specific situation. You should independently verify important travel information before relying on it.

Travlin does not use your personal data, Gmail data, trip data, or AI chat content to train Travlin’s AI models.

Travlin does not use Gmail data or Google user data to train AI models.

Travlin does not sell AI interaction data.

7. Travel Information and No Professional Advice

Travlin provides travel organization tools, suggestions, and informational guidance only.

Travlin does not provide legal, financial, medical, immigration, visa, safety, or professional travel advice.

Travel conditions can change quickly, including flight schedules, gates, delays, cancellations, weather, local events, strikes, safety conditions, entry requirements, visa rules, and government advisories.

You are responsible for verifying important travel information with official sources, including airlines, hotels, transportation providers, government agencies, airports, and local authorities.

Travlin is not responsible for missed flights, missed reservations, delays, cancellations, denied boarding, visa or passport issues, inaccurate provider information, or travel disruptions.

8. Travel Information Accuracy

While Travlin works to accurately organize and interpret travel confirmations, itinerary details may occasionally be incomplete, outdated, duplicated, delayed, misread, or incorrect.

You should always verify important travel details with your original confirmation emails, booking providers, airlines, hotels, transportation providers, and other official sources.

Travlin is not a replacement for official travel documents, booking confirmations, boarding passes, government travel requirements, or provider communications.

9. Not a Booking Service

Travlin organizes your existing travel plans.

Travlin does not directly book flights, hotels, rental cars, trains, cruises, buses, activities, or other travel services.

Travlin is not responsible for changes, cancellations, refunds, delays, denied boarding, reservation issues, pricing changes, or service problems with airlines, hotels, travel agencies, transportation providers, or other third-party travel providers.

10. User Content

You may provide, upload, forward, or submit information to Travlin, including travel confirmations, itinerary details, preferences, notes, prompts, and support messages (“User Content”).

You retain ownership of your User Content. By submitting User Content to Travlin, you grant Travlin a limited right to use, process, store, display, and analyze that content only as necessary to provide, maintain, improve, and protect the Services.

You represent that you have the right to provide any User Content you submit to Travlin.

You agree not to submit unlawful, harmful, fraudulent, abusive, infringing, or misleading content.

11. Privacy

Your use of Travlin is also governed by our Privacy Policy:

The Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, share, and protect information, including Google user data, Gmail data, connected email data, and AI-related data.

12. Subscriptions, Payments, and Paid Features

Travlin may offer free and paid features, subscriptions, or premium services.

If paid features are offered, pricing, billing terms, renewal terms, cancellation options, and refund policies will be presented before purchase or through the relevant app store or payment provider.

If purchases are made through the Apple App Store, Google Play, or another third-party platform, payments, renewals, cancellations, and refunds may be handled by that platform according to its terms.

Travlin may change pricing or features from time to time, subject to applicable law and platform requirements.

13. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use Travlin for unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful purposes

• Attempt to access another user’s account or data

• Interfere with or disrupt the Services

• Reverse engineer, scrape, copy, or abuse the Services

• Upload malicious code or attempt to compromise security

• Use Travlin to violate the rights of others

• Misrepresent your identity or travel information

• Use automated systems to overload or abuse the Services

• Attempt to bypass access controls, rate limits, or security protections

• Use Travlin to process information you do not have permission to access or share

We may suspend or terminate access if we believe these Terms have been violated.

14. Third-Party Services and Links

Travlin may integrate with or link to third-party services, including email providers, travel providers, maps, analytics tools, AI providers, infrastructure services, app stores, and payment processors.

Third-party services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies. Travlin is not responsible for third-party services, data practices, availability, accuracy, or performance.

Use of third-party integrations may require you to authorize access or agree to additional terms from those providers.

15. Service Availability and Changes

Travlin is provided on an “as available” basis. We may update, modify, suspend, or discontinue parts of the Services at any time.

We do not guarantee that Travlin will always be available, uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

We may release updates, improvements, or changes to features over time.

16. Account Deletion and Disconnecting Services

You may request account or data deletion by contacting:

You may disconnect Gmail or other connected email accounts from within the app or by revoking access through the applicable account provider.

Disconnecting a connected account may limit Travlin’s ability to import or update travel information.

Certain information may be retained where required for legal, security, fraud prevention, backup, or operational purposes.

17. Intellectual Property

Travlin, including its software, design, branding, logos, features, content, and technology, is owned by Travlin or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, reverse engineer, or create derivative works from Travlin without our permission, except as allowed by law.

18. Feedback

If you provide feedback, suggestions, ideas, or recommendations about Travlin, you grant us the right to use that feedback without restriction or compensation to you.

19. Disclaimers

Travlin is provided “as is” and “as available.”

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Travlin disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, reliability, availability, and non-infringement.

We do not guarantee that travel recommendations, AI responses, itinerary details, provider information, weather data, flight information, local tips, or other content will be accurate, complete, current, or suitable for your needs.

You are responsible for independently verifying all important travel information before relying on it.

20. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Travlin and its owners, employees, contractors, service providers, and affiliates will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, including lost profits, lost data, travel disruptions, missed reservations, missed flights, incorrect travel information, or loss of goodwill.

Travlin’s total liability for any claim related to the Services will be limited to the amount you paid to Travlin for the Services in the twelve months before the claim, or $100, whichever is greater.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations of liability, so some limitations may not apply to you.

21. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Travlin and its owners, employees, contractors, service providers, and affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses arising from:

• Your use of the Services

• Your violation of these Terms

• Your User Content

• Your violation of law

• Your violation of another person’s rights

22. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to Travlin if we believe you violated these Terms, created risk or harm, or used the Services unlawfully.

You may stop using Travlin at any time.

Certain sections of these Terms will survive termination, including sections related to intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification, and dispute resolution.

23. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.

24. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time.

If we make material changes, we may notify users by updating the effective date, posting a notice on our website, or providing notice through the app.

Your continued use of Travlin after changes are posted means you accept the updated Terms.
